The ergonomic frame designs ensure a comfortable and secure fit with maximum protection from glare. Each pair comes complete with a microfibre cleaning pouch and a compact hard case to help you protect your purchase.
Metal Frames
Our Classic frames are made from high-grade 2mm nickel-silver giving excellent durability and strength. The classically styled temples are hand tensioned to further enhance their quality.
Our Elite, Optical and Polarised frames are made from premium-grade 2mm nickel-silver for even greater durability and strength along with reduced weight. They are fitted with reliable high tension spring temples giving extra fitting comfort for a variety of face sizes and reduced wear and tear.
All frames go through a premium plating process which enhances their look giving a tough high quality finish not normally associated with with glasses in this price range. They are hand polished and coated with an epoxy varnish to ensure no rust spotting thus keeping them looking good for longer. The manufacturing process ensures the frames hold their shape, even at the welds, to give excellent all round alignment. The adjustable nose pads and temple hooks offer great flexibility to help you achieve a perfect fit.
Plastic Frames
All our plastic frames are made from very tough and durable polycarbonate and are highly polished for a perfect finish. They are provided with smooth action, nickel free, metal hinges for strength and durability.
Lenses
All our Classic, Elite and Optical models use acrylic lenses because these provide the best balance of optical performance and strength. They have high transmissivity ratings and show very little hazing thus they provide distortion free optical performance giving excellent clarity of vision. Our 2mm thick round lenses are resistant to light impact and will not suffer from UV induced discolouration in normal use.
Our polarised lenses are engineered with superior 1.0mm TAC (Tri-Acetate Cellulose) lenses to provide excellent glare reduction giving clear, distortion free vision under all sunlight conditions. They increase visual acuity whilst enhancing visual performance which improves contrast and sharpness in your vision. TAC lenses are infused with polarising filters that permeate the layers thus eliminating the de-lamination issues commonly associated with cheap polarised lenses and are less susceptible to shrinkage.
All our sunglasses lenses comply with the latest European Directive 89/686/EEC in accordance with Standard BS EN 1836:2005 and absorb 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays whilst maintaining high levels of visible contrast meeting ANSI Z80.3 UV General Purpose Protection Standards. Most are UV filter category 3 suitable for bright sunlight, driving and general purpose wear. Blue and pink lenses are filter category 1 suitable for average sunlight and fashion wear. Clear lenses are rated filter category 0 suitable for use in low light, cloudy and overcast conditions.
